Travel guides for music. Most guides tell you an area is "well connected" and stop there. We publish the last train, the night bus number and the walk time — because that is the thing you actually need at four in the morning.

Why this exists
Barcelona's metro closes at midnight from Monday to Thursday. Primavera Sound's late stages run until seven or eight in the morning. On the Thursday of the festival that leaves a gap of six hours or more, affecting tens of thousands of people — and almost no guide mentions it. One widely-read one gets it flatly wrong and tells you the metro runs until 2am.
That gap is the sort of thing we go and check. Not because it's clever, but because it decides where you should book, and you will not find it on a hotel booking site.
