What this site collects

We count visits anonymously, without cookies: page views, country, browser and load speed, as totals only. Like any website, our hosting keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, for security. No adverts, ad trackers or session recording.

We set none, so there's no cookie banner. Other companies may set their own if you use a booking link, an accommodation map or a music player.

Booking links are affiliate links (see the about page), and the accommodation maps and music players come from other services. Using them connects you to that company, whose own privacy policy then applies. We never see your booking, payment details or name. The same goes for our merch shop, which runs on a separate platform.

• What we keep: your email address, only once you've confirmed it.
• What for: alerts about shows at the venues and festivals we cover. Nothing else, and never sold or shared.
• Who handles it: our email provider, on our behalf.
• Leaving: every alert has an unsubscribe link.

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask what we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. The only personal data we hold is a confirmed alerts address. Write to us at info@alistermusic.com and we'll answer.
